WPCF Board

The WPCF’s Board of Directors meets at least once per year to set the impetus and direction of the association’s work. It consists of not more than one representative per Member (up to 15 persons in total) and is appointed by the WPCF’s General Assembly, with each Director elected for a period of three years, renewable twice.

The Board of Directors has the power to amend internal regulations, approve annual budgets, suspend Members or Associate Members, appoint a Secretary General, establish Special Committees (to which it may delegate certain tasks), make recommendations to the General Assembly and select the organiser, date and place of each World Print and Communication Congress. Decisions of the Board on these matters are all taken by consensus, meaning that each Director has one vote, with the President of the Board (if necessary) casting the deciding vote.
